Winter Elopement in Seward, Alaska | Brittany & Larry
In October, I got the call that Brittany and Larry had decided to do away with the large wedding they had been planning and elope in Seward, Alaska instead. It was where they met and had fallen in love (at the Yukon Bar to be exact!) and it only felt natural that things would come full circle here. In that pre-Covid era, this 180 turn wasn’t so much out of necessity, but really a desire to simplify and do something that felt more “them!”

Alaska Elopement Inspiration at Ultima Thule Lodge | Wrangell St.-Elias National Park
Maybe the traditional wedding fanfare isn’t your style and you’re considering an elopement in the Alaskan wilderness. Maybe you’re not quite in love with the idea of roughing it on your wedding day — we get it! (We like fantastic meals and plush down comforters too!) Adventurous Seaside Wedding in Seward, Alaska | Lacey & Wesley | The Adams Co. Photography
Lacey and Wesley chose to say their vows in an intimate ceremony on the edge of Resurrection Bay in Seward, Alaska. It was toward the last days of spring and the ocean air was mild, the town still quiet. A perfect day for a wedding. These two are the kind of couple whose light you feel just by being near them. They’re adventurous, lighthearted, and thoughtful. Based on the many stories they shared, I’m pretty sure there are rarely boring moments between them.

These two chose to say their vows just outside of Palmer, Alaska in the Talkeetna Mountains on one of the last golden days of autumn in Alaska. It was an intimate occasion with just family and close friends present, many many tacos, yard games, and a whole lot of laughter.
