It may be considered risky to elope in Alaska in September because of the unpredictable weather, but in our opinion, the golden foliage and dramatic skies are worth it — particularly in Hatcher Pass. As my grandfather would say, bad weather is only an attitude, and thankfully these New Yorkers agreed because we got pelted by water in all it’s forms throughout their elopement.
