Jodi & Eric | Engagement | Anchorage, Alaska

A few years ago, I had the privilege of photographing Jodi as she prepared to graduate high school. Now she is knee deep in college and about to be married. These two will tie the knot in less than a month, so in anticipation of that glorious day I wanted to share some images from their engagement session along the Turnagain Arm. 
It was cold and windy out, but when has that ever stopped an Alaskan woman from throwing on a summer dress and heels? Eric may be from the Sunshine State, but rose to the occasion splendidly and did his bride-to-be proud. I personally think he would make an excellent Alaskan.

There are some things that just go together. PB&J, bacon and eggs, rum and coke, Ross and Rachel. These two are like that. Their love is natural, tangible, and unmistakable. 

Their engagement session felt like that too.
